INVITATION TO
THE 2ND CONFERENCE:
CITIES, SUSTAINABLE AND INCLUSIVE
LIVING SPACES FOR NEW GENERATIONS

On Wednesday, October 8, the 2nd international conference New European Bauhaus and examples of good practices is taking place in Celje, Slovenia.
The city, as the basic unit of urban space, combines the key functions of human society: residency, social and healthcare, management and leisure. Today's historical cities are facing a loss of identity, emigration of inhabitants, the deterioration of the social structure and the slow renovation of the historical cores. The 2nd international professional conference of the new European Bauhaus is dedicated to address these challenges - opening dialogue, finding solutions and formulating proposals for the future. We relate to the message of the REVIVE* project and the idea of the new European Bauhaus,
which strives for a more beautiful, sustainable and inclusive way of life.
The conference, which is held in cooperation with the Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute (ZAG), the Association of Municipalities and Towns of Slovenia and the Municipality of Celje, is dedicated to discussion and cooperation between all stakeholders for the life and development of city
centers. Experts from various fields will present proposals and recommendations also for systemic solutions and the layout adjustment of cities and historic city centers. These are essential for the existence and development of cities, as old city centers can become quality living environments, well organized and attractive arenas for private and public capital investments and entrepreneurial activities.
Here you can see the CONFERENCE PROGRAME.
The conference is free of charge, with no attendance or registration fees. It will take place on Wednesday, October 8, from 8:30 a.m. in Tehnopark Celje (Gubčeva 1), Slovenia. Applications for participation are being collected until October 3rd at the email address info@zgodovinska-mesta.si
*The REVIVE project is co-financed by the European Union within the framework of the Creative Europe program.
